During the potty-training process, I think lots of us mommies begin to wonder if our children really do "work?" I've followed the advice of others and not pushed the issue too much with Emma. Everyone has different suggestions of the things that worked with their children and we all know that every child is completely different!
So, I decided I'd just do it my way and B.R.I.B.E. her!! Oh and we can't forget the "name calling" tactic. I sound like a horrible mother don't I?
I just non-chalantly mentioned this morning during diaper change that baby's wear diapers and hmmm...did that do the trick? And, she already knows that she gets a "ma-pop" (translation: lollipop) when she goes.
Well, HALLELUJAH!!, this lil' sista conquered the potty today!! And her mommy couldn't be more proud!! The things that make our day as mommies huh? Really, it has made my day.
Needless to say...her Green Apple ma-pop was yummy and disappeared in a flash. Then, "I want nother 'un mommy!"
Ah...she isn't broken!

I am possible going to try and tackle potty training soon,as well, so I could relate. Congrats on getting over the hump! Thanks for your comments on my new blog and don't underestimate yourself...your site is precious! Nice to meet you in blogland.Keep in touch.
Congrats on the Potty training. I know that is quite a feat for all parents. Your blog is beautiful by the way. Have you gotten many hits from it yet? Let me know how it works.

Congratulations,Baby! I knew you could do it. I'm proud of both of you. You are such a great Mommy and Emma's blessed to have you. I'm so glad you are staying at home with her. That's one reason why she sooo smart. Of course, the fact that I'm "Gamma" has nothing to do with how proud I am of her.

Girl, you are doing a great job with this "blogging" - it's relevant and well said.
Kisses from your Dad!
