We are gonna miss you Boogy! You were the best dog that anyone could ask for.

You brought so much joy and life into our home and without you, there will be a void that you left behind. Your daddy and I will miss your curling up beside us at night. I will miss tripping over you with every step because you just wanted to be near your mommy at all times. Daddy is going to miss that wagging tail and hyper greet at the door when he comes in from work each day.

I could go on and on, but none of this will bring you back. I am glad that you won't have to suffer anymore, yes. But, this house will never be the same without your four little legs pouncing around in it.

If there are truly doggies in Heaven, go find Rakki & Charkie and please set up camp at the gates. You'll see us there before long.

Wednesday Wonders

I wonder what in the world makes him think our bed belongs to him and him alone. He has no idea he is a D.O.G.! You can't tell it from this picture of course, but everday after I make the bed, J.R. will jump up on it and knock the pillows all the way down until he is pleased and will lay his head right in the middle of the pillow. Like a human. Happy to have "his" bed to himself once more.

But, what would life be like without our dog-humans?
