Wow! I'm so excited! I've actually heard really great things about this book. I have not seen the movie, and I'll have to wait now until after I read the book (I hate spoiling books like that). I do love the story of Esther and can't wait to read this! Honestly, most of my reading lately has consisted of parenting/child rearing books (Bringing Up Boys, Five Love Languages of Children, Balance that Works When Life Doesn't, Preparing Your Son for Every Man's Battle... things like that) - mostly informative, not always very entertaining though. Now with all the kids home for summer (ages 10, 8, 4 3/4, and 15 months, only the baby is a girl) we are making a point to encourage family reading time. I'll be happy to have something this great to look forward to reading!
